Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

23 March 2020:

Andrea Grottoli (ICRS President) and Christian Wild (ICRS 2020 Chairman):

"Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the ICRS Officers and the ICRS 2020 Organizers are discussing what the next best step should be for the ICRS 2020 meeting scheduled for this summer in Bremen, Germany.

There are many layers of commitment and planning that need to be considered. The discussions are ongoing and require some time. We hope to announce our contingency plan to you by the end of next week.

In case ICRS 2020 can take place as planned, the Early Bird registration period will be extended.

Thank you for your patience as we all adapt to our new reality of social distancing, remote working, and home schooling. We hope you and your family members are safe and healthy."

17 March 2020 -

ICRS 2020 Conference Secretariat:

In response to the evolving pandemic, we are currently developing contingency plans for the ICRS 2020. Once finalised, these plans will need to be discussed with our partners.

The final decision on how we will proceed with ICRS 2020 thus requires some additional time. We currently anticipate to make an announcement by 3 April and inform all potential participants.

Many thanks for your patience and stay safe and healthy!

10 March 2020:

Andrea Grottoli (ICRS President) and Christian Wild (ICRS 2020 Chairman):

"The ICRS 2020 Organizing Committee is aware of the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in China and its pandemic spread to other countries, including Germany. We are constantly monitoring developments in Bremen, in Germany, and beyond that may have an impact on the ICRS 2020.

Developments are currently very dynamic and the situation at the beginning of July is still difficult to predict. We are following the guidelines of the local and national authorities and are keeping ourselves informed through official statements.
